We really enjoyed Avocado Bliss Retreat and plan to come back. The host was very helpful and responsive. The property was well decorated, clean, and exactly what we needed for our family meet-up. We saw the intention put into the property all throughout.

CJ was a great host and her airbnb was great for 9 of us. Everything was as described and had a great time for a mini getaway for a wedding. Would definitely rent again in the future.

“We had a big family group (21 adults) spend 7 nights spread out between the main house, Casita and the barn haven. It was a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The bathrooms were great, the three kitchens meant that people could spread out and make their meals. The coffee machine was easy to use and very popular. We enjoyed being able to explore local trails without taking our car. CJ was very responsive whenever I had any questions.”

From the moment we arrived, we were relaxed by the stunning and natural surroundings. The mountains, lush orchards and landscaping set the tone for privacy and relaxation. Our large group had plenty of room when together, whether it was enjoying meals in the gourmet kitchen or relaxing by the saltwater pool and spa, or in smaller, more intimate groups on one of the many patios. Avocado bliss provided every amenity imaginable and CJ, the owner was on hand to answer any questions about the property, the area or to provide additional spa amenities. Everyone had plenty to do both at Avocado bliss retreat and in the greater San Diego area. We can't wait to visit again.

I had the privilege and pleasure to stay at Avocado Bliss Retreat with a group of friends to celebrate the birthday of one of them. It was a magical experience. The rooms are spacious and so well-decorated. The kitchen is well equipped. The jacuzzi and pool are the perfect combination for cold and or hot weather. The host took us for a tour of the property and I was amazed by the variety of plants and trees. The views are beautiful and we all loved our stay!

Great place, very quiet!

This was by far the most immaculate vacation rental I have stayed at. Had such a great stay and CJ was an incredible host with tons of recommendations.

CJ is a great host. She's friendly and responded to our questions and needs in a timely manner. We enjoyed this beautiful house with a beautiful landscape; the views, sunsets, and ample outdoor space, were perfect. I would definitely book Avocado Bliss Retreat again in the future. We had a wonderful time at Avocado Bliss Retreat. It comfortably slept 3 families and our children! The kitchen was amazing and had everything we needed for large meals. The pool and hot tub were heated upon our arrival. We picked lots of avocados and oranges. We also booked 4 amazing massages and the massage therapist came to the Airbnb where there was a separate peaceful space for the massages. Would recommend for a peaceful getaway!

What a peaceful, and serene space to reset and rejuvenate. The interior of both units is spacious, each bedroom well designed, letting in lots of natural light and featuring a different plant from around the property. (Missing my favorite, the Peruvian Pepper trees. I could sit under them for hours and soak up their energy.) The Saltwater soaking pool and hot tub offer blissful relaxation and I am sure I will book massages for my next stay. This set-up is perfect, the main house offering 5 bedrooms and the Barn Guesthouse with its one bedroom - a great feature for an extended family getaway, where you can spend time together, but also have your own space (great for introverts for alone time to reset). Additionally, an incredible retreat space, the guesthouse offers a great area for a host to stay/plan/focus and the retreat guests have a big space to share with their private rooms. CJ and Lolli are wonderful hosts, thank you! I can't wait to come back.

“I booked this house for a girl's trip with four of my friends. It was better than we could have ever hoped! The property is absolutely gorgeous (inside and out) and has such a special vibe to it. Everything lent itself to the perfect recharge we were all hoping for. We loved walking the property, the views, the pool, the home, the comfy beds, and we each had more than enough space for ourselves. Highly, highly recommend coming here! We will definitely be back. The host has a menu of spa services we will definitely plan on taking more advantage of next trip.”

Avocado Bliss Retreat is wonderful! The countryside is beautiful and filled with song birds and blue skies. CJ is attentive to your requests and responds super quickly! The space itself is clean, and comfortable and comes with everything you need for a getaway, including some tasty truffles hiding ;) I highly recommend a dip in the hot tub and when available, there are citrus trees in the yard bearing delicious fruity treats for your liking. I would like to stay longer next time.

Avocado Bliss Retreat was amazing! We loved all the decor and how CJ had thought of so many little details to make our stay enjoyable. I got a massage from Debi and it was divine! Seriously, do book a massage. We enjoyed having the 2 homes so we could spread out. We all fit together in the main house for gathering. The saltwater hot tub was great! - really nice on the skin. Picking fresh fruit from the orchard for breakfast was fun and delicious. We hope to come next year!

Avocado Bliss Retreat made for a great base camp for hiking the local mountains and trails, so many to choose from! It is quiet, private and fairly secluded and it included all the necessities as well as a pool (too cold on our visit) and a hot tub (just right). CJ was super responsive, friendly, and attentive. All in all, a great stay and highly recommend!

I booked this trip as a relaxing getaway with my husband and some friends of ours, and that's exactly what we had! The property is so beautiful and inviting, and we felt right at home. The beds were super cozy, which is always a big deal for me when traveling. The couches are super deep and comfy also, which made lounging around even better. We had an awesome time exploring the area, and didn't even feel like we needed to leave because there was so much to do in and around the property. The salt water hot tub is so cool, it feels like getting into the ocean, and makes your skin feel really nice after. We enjoyed some nearby hiking, and highly recommend Daley Ranch - such a hidden gem! And definitely enjoyed picking our own avocadoes and oranges - such a fun experience! I highly recommend this retreat, and can't wait to go back myself!

We booked this property for an escape from the city with a few couples. It was just what we needed to relax and recharge. The large professional kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and making large meals. The home is thoughtfully appointed and this, coupled with the pristine nature that surrounds the property, made our stay feel so tranquil. Per CJ’s recommendation, we did a hike up on Daley Ranch; so amazing we could walk to this beautiful sanctuary from the house! The saltwater hot tub was perfect to ease our muscles afterwards. I definitely recommend staying here for some quality time with friends.

We booked Avocado Bliss Retreat extremely last minute. She was very accommodating from the start. I am so glad circumstances led us to this place. It was the BEST Airbnb we’ve stayed at. There were plenty of toiletries, paper towels, and kitchen supplies. The house was very user-friendly with beautiful bathrooms and kitchen. Every bedroom was unique and peaceful. The whole atmosphere was peaceful and allowed for a relaxing experience. CJ was very responsive and walked me through heating the pool and jacuzzi…which were amazing. There is even a towel warmer in one of the bathrooms…a very nice treat. I highly recommend Avocado Bliss Retreat.
