Farmer Role

Avocado Bliss Retreat

Rooted in organic principles and a deep commitment to restoring the land, Avocado Bliss Retreat is a regenerative farm and wellness sanctuary nestled in the hills of North County San Diego. Here, we nourish our local community through seasonal produce, farm-to-table experiences, and bespoke retreats—cultivating not just food, but also well-being and connection.

Our vision is to weave a thriving food forest among our mature avocado orchard, growing nutrient-dense food in harmony with nature. We see farming as a sacred act—one that heals bodies, fosters climate resilience, and uplifts the spirit. Every seed sown and bed prepared is a step toward a more abundant, joyful, and resilient world.

Role Overview

As a Farmer at Avocado Bliss Retreat, you are both steward and artist—tending the land with reverence and curiosity. Reporting to the Owner, you’ll be immersed in all aspects of regenerative farming, from the first seeds of spring to the bounty of harvest. Your days will be spent among fruit-laden branches and lush undergrowth, working with the rhythms of the earth to cultivate nourishment.

You’ll engage in every aspect of our food forest: seeding, planting, harvesting, washing, packing, weeding, irrigation, bed preparation, mulching, pest management, and composting. As retreat guests wander the grounds, your warmth and hospitality will help them feel the magic of this living landscape.
